Capitulate
Canon of Prayer; Day 24
• To surrender under specified conditions:
• To give up all resistance; acquiesce:
• To surrender unconditionally or on stipulated terms.
• To give up resistance; yield: to capitulate to someone's pleas.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
God calls us to Himself with a minimum required, of all; God requires for us to surrender all. For by grace are we saved through faith; all. It is not until we fully understand faith that we can understand what God’s terms for salvation is. We have been long taught that faith means to believe in God, to trust God for our salvation, but it means so much more.
The reality of it is; faith as it concerns salvation mean to surrender all, to capitulate. Faith means total allegiance to King and country, the Kingdom of Heaven. To distrust God, and live, act unfaithful to God; is an act of treason; such was the case with Adam and Even. The act of unfaithfulness by Adam and Even was so catastrophic that all of humanity was separated from God; now God calls us back to Himself in the same area that severed our relation with our King and country; faith.
Faith is the standard God set, complete surrender-capitulation. Jesus started His earthly ministry with the declaration, “repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”. Repent means to change your thinking, because the mind of man became corrupt in the fall, scripture says the mind of man is deceitful, wicked and incurably ill. And the only way to truly change your thinking is to change the mind; the only way to truly change the mind is to change your nature. In this case we must be born again, we must capitulate and surrender through faith. Once we are saved-born again, we must continue to surrender our lives over to the King.
Prayer
Father we accept your standard, we repent, we surrender our heart, our soul, our mind to you. We surrender to your terms, by faith we pledge of allegiance, you are savior and King and we surrender to the government and the governance of the Kingdom of Heaven. We accept your term of Salvation; we accept your terms of Citizenship. Father, now we surrender all.
This is the Decree of the King
