Re-sensitization Prayer
The Canon of Prayer; Day 44 #Resensitize
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)
Re-sensitize means to make sensitize again. Re-sensitization is much need for the believer to function at full potential and in accordance we our purpose. It is the realizing of our identity which is crucial for living an authentic Kingdom life. The system of the World the government of Satan is uniquely designed to blind and desensitize the minds of humanity. He desires to blind us and keep us from the light so that we can live and remain in darkness.
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
He wants to desensitize us to sin by having us justify our short coming and abusing the grace of God. More than that; he want to desensitize us to the voice and spirit of God so that we are non-responsive to the voice of God and the spirit of God.
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: (Ephesians 4:18)
The human brain receive and processes information involuntarily; we live in the world and in the flesh, we have to be doubly as diligent to guard our minds from being so inundated with the world that we begin to normalize worldliness. This is why we have to be intentional about of spiritual growth, our relationship with God. The bible tells us…
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:8)
When we re-sensitize we are reconnecting to the King; learning His standard and learning how to respond appropriately from the King’s perspective. This is done by stilling ourselves in His present, by fasting and praying and much time hearing the voice of the King so that we can hear the voice of the King. I often say, “one of the reasons we read the Bible is to get familiar with the voice of God, so that we know what He sounds like; what He would say, what He would not say, who He is and how He operates so we can distinguish His voice among the voices in the spirit realm.
When we re-sensitize we become sensitive to the voice, spirit and move of God and it moves us in the Spirit.
Prayer
Father I declare we are vigilant to guard our mind against the enemy’s strategy to blind and desensitize our mind. We will not be conformed-desensitized to the world, but we shall be re-sensitized to the King as we renew our minds in the Word.
This is the Decree of the King
