Seizing the Kingdom; Faith

Seizing the Kingdom; Faith

Matthew 6:33

But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

The faith that seizes the Kingdom goes far beyond believing in the all might, all powerful, self-sufficient, self-existent creator of all creation; faith that seizes the Kingdom knows that He is God , that He is King and that we are His children, citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven and lives this as a present and constant reality.

Hebrews 11:6-7

Without faith it is impossible to please God; what pleases God is to give us the Kingdom of Heaven, that's why in the person of Jesus He gives us the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven and confers it to us.

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace [the power of God working in you on your behalf to accomplish what you cannot] through faith [commitment to pledge your allegiance to King and Country- God and the Kingdom of Heaven] you are saved [restored back to the family of God, made sons of God, citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, Kings and Priest] this is God gift to us all.

Faith that seizes the Kingdom is an "all or nothing" commitment to give your life completed to God. That's why He said to seek first; as our number one priority the Kingdom of God.

Righteousness is a product of faith; that is why it doesn't say; without righteousness it is impossible to please God, but without faith. Righteousness is the fruit of faith.

Romans 3:21-26

21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in[a] Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,[b] through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
