Realize your Deliverance, Prayer
The Canon of Prayer: Day 45 #Deliverance
Stand fast [Realize] therefore in the liberty (Deliverance) wherewith Christ hath made us free [Delivered us and secured of deliverance], and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)
“stand fast”
to stand firm
to persevere, to persist
to keep one's standing
“make us free”
to make free
set at liberty: from the dominion of sin
Strong's- to liberate, that is, (figuratively) to exempt (from moral, ceremonial or mortal liability): - deliver, make free.
As we turn our attention to a prayer of deliverance, there is somethings of great significance that one must come to grasp; (spoiler alert) Jesus has already secured our deliverance. Jesus really did “pay it all”, His death was the ransom payment that made us free. One of the devils main objectives is to keep us imprisoned to the idea of being imprisoned since that’s all he has because we are free in Jesus. If you don’t know you’re free than you’re imprisoned only to the idea of imprisonment; but imprisoned just the same. Your perception is your reality so if you perceive in your mind that you are bound, than that is your reality and that is what you will live. So all Satan has to do is convince you that you are bound and you will live bound to sickness, addiction and sin.
“The battle is won and lost in the mind”, “the battle is spiritual in the mind”; to experience the deliverance that Jesus has already purchased for us, we must first realize by faith in the spirit of our mind, our deliverance.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations [in the mind], and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity EVERY THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ; (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
I once heard a story that I will just call the “Elephant story”. It was about an elephant that was captured in the wild. The owner chained the elephant to a stake that he put into the ground. Whenever the elephant would try to walk away the chain would rub the elephant’s legs raw causing major pain. The elephant after a while stopped trying to get away to avoid the pain; so the elephant came to grasp the reality of its situation. At this point the elephant is broken and freedom is nolonger an option. Once the elephant is broken the owner switches the chain with a rope; a rope that the elephant could easily break, but because he is broken, he doesn't even try. He does not realize he is free because he has already accepted bondage as his reality
We must realize the deliverance that we already have, the deliverance Jesus has already secured for us
He has delivered us from the power of sin and death, and has given us dominion over both.
He has delivered us from the hand of the enemy (and hath given us power over them).
He has delivered us from sickness, infirmity and affliction.
He has delivered us from us - made us new creatures.
He has delivered us from temptation - Has given us a way of escape
Jesus hand delivered us to the Father
Your Deliverance must become your reality
Your perception is your reality
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:36)
Father we thank you for taking on human flesh and securing our freedom, our deliverance by dying in our place for our sins. Father help us to walk in the reality of the deliverance that you have secured for us. We are free because you set us free, and whoever the Lord sets free is free for real.
I declare:
We are delivered from the power of sin and death, and have dominion over both
We are delivered from the hand of the enemy.
We are delivered from sickness, infirmity and affliction
We are delivered from ourselves, our flesh and made new creatures
We are delivered from temptation; God has given us a way of escape.
Jesus has hand delivered us to the Father and deliverance is my reality.
This is the Decree of the King
