The Canon of Prayer; Day 41 #Dominion

GOD NEVER GAVE MAN DOMINION OVER MAN;ONLY GOD HAS DOMINION OVER MAN; WE ARE KINGS, HE IS KING Of KINGS-THE SUPREME KING-GOD

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:27-28)

Dominion:

1. Rule , authority

• The power to rule: control of a country, region etc.

• The land that a ruler or government controls (Merriam Webster)

Dominion is our birthright, meaning that our purpose-the reason why we exist is to have dominion. God had created the perfect domain and on the sixth day He gave the domain a ruler, a King; one whom He has authorized to have dominion. A king is the dominate figure in a domain; God created man for this reason, to be Earth’s King under the authority and rulership of the supreme King-God. Birth is the start of ones existence; it was on the sixth day Humanity’s birthday, God-our Father gave us Earth as our birthday gift and it was on that day that we became Earth’s King. Dominion is our birthright because Earth is our possession by birth.

Our right to rule is directly connected to our identity and our submission to the King. Our identity as children of God is the key to our dominion and we identify as Children of God through our submission-obedience to our Father the supreme King. In this way our identity and our submission is one and the same; behavior (function) is a common way to determining identity. We must live from our identity as Children of God and in doing so, we walk in dominion.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12)

We may have fallen in the garden and abdicated the throne; forfeited our authority and dominion but Jesus restored our relationship with God and recovered our dominion.

Dominion starts with ruling over our own flesh-our own selves; Adam lost dominion of the Earth because he did not governing himself. I know there is a lot of focus on dominion when it comes to the teaching of the Kingdom and rightfully so. However it is important to understand that our dominion our rule starts with ruling self. We can not take dominion over demons and spirits or sickness and diseased without first taking dominion over our flesh and bringing it under the authority and obedience of the supreme King.

That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God (1 Thessalonians 4:4-5)

Prayer

Father I declare dominion, the dominion that is my birthright, the dominion that you conferred to me. I declare dominion over my flesh; your word says that He who has no rule over his own spirit is a city that is broken down and without wall-defenseless and an easy target for an attack. Father I possess my vessel in sanctity and honor and walk in dominion as I take dominion over my flesh and bring it under submission to the King. I walk in the dominion, the authority you have given me over demons and unclean spirits, over sickness and disease; I declare the manifestation of this dominion in my life as I continue to surrender to you.

This is the decree of the King
